What We Do
Do you have a dispute which needs a quick and positive resolution, but you’d prefer not to pay legal firm fees? Do you just need someone to write a strong letter? Or need advice on how to proceed with taking a complaint further? This is exactly why I set up SJS Dispute Resolution. We help those with the day to day disputes that crop up. There’s no case that’s too small for us.
Sometimes you just need a letter of complaint written and you’re not sure how to word it, or you’re in a dialogue about a dispute and you’d like to take it further. Or maybe you want to take your dispute to the small claims court and need a professional to advise, oversee communications and represent you. That is exactly what we’re here for – to manage the situations you might find difficult and iron out some of your problems. Give us the issue and we’ll give you the solution.
Our Work
Recently, SJS Dispute Resolution handled two high profile cases.
The first was against the NHS on behalf of a client for medical negligence, which was successful. The full cost of the procedure was refunded, plus compensation for the client’s experiences and their costs involving the case.
The second was against a mainstream University, who changed the degree program of the client multiple times during their three years there. Amongst other things this resulted in a loss of access to vital facilities, lack of comprehensive teaching and other serious failures by the University which ultimately ended up with a non-accredited course. The cost of the full tuition fees was refunded for the three year period that the student spent studying there, plus compensation and costs.
